Hello, I’m Brianna!

I am so happy you are here! The Garcias Mundo was created by me as an outlet for all of my many passions in life as a mama, wife, hairstylist, homemaker and entrepreneur.

A Little backstory

My name is Brianna Garcia and I am a mom of two toddlers, Olivia and A.j. I am 30 years old and a full-time homemaker. I believe that we are all where we are meant to be in life and with faith and courage we can live a life full of abundance and love. I was born and raised in Boston MA and in the year 2022 my family and I picked up our lives and moved to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico! We love it here. This move has helped us to slow down, breath the actual air and find God.

I am naturally a city girl that never fit into the city life and I am now finding myself in tune with nature, family, homemaking and holistic health.

I am also a licensed cosmetologist who specializes in hair extensions. I have worked as an hair assistant, hair stylist and owned my own salon suite. I am a passionate entrepreneur, who quite honestly, can’t sit still but I choose peace. I gave up the hustle hard mentality and I am now lucky enough to be able to stay home with my children full time. The passion I have for hair will never go away, so I dedicate a few hours a week to teaching and doing hair extensions.

My husband Angel and I come from a hustler lifestyle and now our mission in life is to keep things slow, embrace the pace so that we can fully be intentional about our actions.

If you had asked me what I thought about a homesteading lifestyle 5 years ago, I would have told you, “More power to ya!”. Fast forward to now and my husband and I are on a homestead mission! Life has taught us a lot already and one thing is for sure, health is always at the top of our list. That includes our spiritual health, mental and physical so the only solution for us in these times is to grow our own food, and live minimally with God at our forefront! We are currently building our forever home while learning the new lifestyle and trust me, there is a LOT of work and a LOT of learning to do still.

This blog is here to help capture these moments of our lives and encourage you to be brave and embrace change, no matter how big the change may be. It is my creative outlet. By slowing down and truly understanding how valuable our family is to us and not just how much we have, our eyes have been opened.

I am learning out loud and sharing all of my homemade recipes, home-grown plants, homemade products, hair extensions and so much more! I did mention I can’t sit still so expect it all when you become a part of my “mundo”, The Garcias Mundo! Welcome!
